This is a really great look at Ogata's life; and I'm seconding the kudos about the conversation between Hikaru and him - and also now, I'm having visions of Akira finding some tiny clue to Sai in his Heian research and writing a romance based on him (probably without knowing it's that Sai) and giving Hikaru a heart attack when he finally lets Hikaru read it!)
